MARC GAUDET
Marc is a "Blue-noser" born and raised in HRM, although he has not spent his whole career in Nova Scotia. Graduating from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biology, Marc then went on to complete his Diploma in Dental Hygiene in '96 (also from Dalhousie). Shortly after graduating, he began practicing dental hygiene in Labrador, where he lived for a couple of years before returning to Nova Scotia. Several years later, he ventured out west to Alberta and practiced there for 8 years before returning home to the East Coast.
Marc has many varied interests, first and foremost is spending time with his wife and son. He enjoys helping build lego projects, setting up elaborate secret agent spy missions playing with his son, and also enjoys using a variety of voices when he reads to his son each night before bed. Fishing is a pastime he also enjoys doing with his son, mind you he could use some pointers in helping the fish find his hook. Marc has a strong interest in fitness and health, doing his best to stay active by running, strength training, and the occasional hockey or golf game.
Marc has a 6th degree black belt in ITF Taekwon-Do, which he has instructed for many years, and he now also enjoys doing Brazilian Ju-Jitsu with his son. Marc is also a Certified Firefighter and has volunteered in his community. He is an avid board gamer with a sizeable collection, and has a strong passion for photography as well as reading both fiction and non-fiction. Marc also speaks some Spanish and loves to practice with patients. Mucho gusto!
