Tammie, a native New Brunswicker, made her way to Wolfville via Halifax to start her new and second career as a dental hygienist in 1993. After several bicycle trips around the valley and looking forward to cycling “all the time” , it was decided this was the place to be. She had spent several years trekking across the country as a flight attendant and traveling in her then “spare” time. After juggling studies and work for four years, she eventually settled in to the “best room in the house” at 9 Gaspereau (Wolfville Dentistry's previous address!) in 1995…6 months after her first child was born. There was something in the Valley water and the babies kept coming while she continued to work part time. Now, with three great kids, she also volunteers as maid, cab driver and money tree. “Stolen” time is spent with friends , skiing, hiking, walking, “wine tasting” and more recently, returning to her past love of horseback riding. Oddly enough, her bicycle generally sits in the shed covered in cobwebs….
